Human Rights Violations During Ramadan

Statement by Ex-Muslims International As Ramadan begins, Ex-Muslims International acknowledges the right of individuals to observe their beliefs freely. However, the systemic oppression, human rights abuses, and coercion that accompanies Ramadan for those who do not or cannot fast makes this month one of fear, suffering, and forced compliance for many.
