My heritage is mainly of Sunni descent. As an individual that Lorre up and lived the first 20 years of my life in Pakistan, studying Islam was compulsory.

During my academic years I came across many religious texts and concepts that I opposed privately. Over the years I e had heated debates with practicing Muslims in the extended family that I don’t agree with.

After much contemplation, I realise that it is time for me to reflect my sentiments formally by joining an organisation comprising of individuals that share my sentiments.
