I wish to become a member because I want to interact with people that hold similar values as I do. I grew up in Bangladesh and even though I was one of the privileged around me I saw a society which had an underlying hatred towards women. What I noticed which disturbed me mostly was how women seemed to accept a stereotypical role in society without question. My observation of other cultures brought me to the conclusion that it is not the culture or the state in which people live but it is the religion Islam that oppresses women and creates a mutual acceptance of their role. I wish to create a better understanding of my environment by speaking to others and learning from their experiences. I\'m also looking to be part of a means in which oppressed women are helped and rescued. Please accept me as one of your members as I am a great admire of your work.
