Hello,
My name is Patricia Chaar, I am a half Finnish and Lebanese Ex-Sunni Muslim. I grew up in Sydney and wore a hijab most my life (6yo-19yo). I've struggled with religion most my life particularly from 17-20 years of age. I no longer call myself a Muslim, but I find the nature of religion, identity and Islam fascinating and wish to do future research papers on it and possibly start an Australian Ex-Muslim NGO. I'd also love the opportunity to, one day, work with the Council of Ex-Muslims Britain. I hope to be welcomed into this online community and hope to learn a lot.
