Decades after marrying a white non Muslim , I am happy to now know that I’m never going to ‘get’ religion. I’m proud to have a child who is not burdened with an obligation to blind faith. I’m increasingly frustrated by having to pander to irrational sensitivities. I’m ashamed at the inhumanity inflicted on humanity by zealots.
