I was raised with no faith. I was then a teacher in London in mainly Muslim schools. I was a supporter of the religion and the community. I mixed with many Somalian Pakistani and Afghani families. My thinking changed. I became almost indoctrinated and only narrowly escaped. I now recognise the damage the doctrine causes certain groups ie women, gay people etc. I have 2 gay siblings and when I lived in Abu Dhabi I started to realise the destructive impact it could have on people.
