When I realized that my hijab was nothing but a burden, I became an Ex Muslim. My family back home thinks I’m a disgrace who has lost herself to Western immorality. Too bad they can’t see I have only liberate myself from undeserved burdens. I’ve been an atheist for some times now, and I have endured suffering as a woman born into Islam and I sacrifices a lot too. But still, I wish I had taken that decision sooner.
