Hi, my name is Yusra Elmi.I'm an 18 years old somali ex-muslim girl living in Ireland.I have been struggling with keeping up with this religion,the more I researched about it the more doubts I got and I've come to the conclusion that it is in fact a flash religion and Muhammad is a false prophet with no proof to support him being a messenger from God.Now I'm an Agnostic and I'm taking the steps and being brave to show my identity but I still struggle and get backlash from my family and friends.However,I'd rather be a stranger to people than be a stranger to myself and so I won't hide who I am anymore,I took off the hijab and I express my thoughts freely with my parents.I'd rather die than to live or pretend to live a lie.
