I’m writing to express my interest in joining the Council of Ex-Muslims of Britain. I’m a former Muslim and a newly arrived refugee in the UK, looking for a safe and supportive community of people who understand what it means to leave Islam.

Leaving the religion was a difficult but necessary decision for me, and while I finally have the freedom to live honestly, I still face isolation and fear of judgment from parts of my community. I believe being part of CEMB would help me feel less alone and more empowered in this new chapter of my life.
