Because I've left the faith behind and I'm quite vocal about encouraging people to think critically, fighting dogma and discrimination esp against ex muslims, engaging in discussions to lead people to the realisation that no scriptures or for that matter religions are in any way divine or in anyway relevant to the real world.

I'm quite articulate and would like to do my bit to help others be more open about their unbelief and more accepting of themselves. Having said that, for now I'm using a pseudonym as my internet presence is quite vital to my profession, but I might change that shortly and use my real name.

Plus of course it would be nice to meet like minded people and discuss things like how they avoid stuff like the pressure to (e.g.) celebrate eid a certain way.
