Statement

I'm a 21 year old Ex-Muslim transgender from Kuwait. I grew up and still live in a very religious muslim household. I am forced to wear Hijab and get horribly beat up if I accidentally show a small lock of hair (and for other things as well). My 14 year old sister -who is also an Ex-Muslim- is forced to wear Hijab too since she was 10. I'm planning to move to UK when my sister reaches 18 and take her with me (that is 4 years from now). I'm working really hard to earn some money for my journey to freedom. However, I have no idea what are the regulations to live there. How to get a job in the UK and how to get my sister to study in a college there. And most importantly, if my family is able to force me back to Kuwait if I ever leave it. I was diagnosed with Depression and GAD, along with Gender Dsyphoria which makes me have extreme suicidal thoughts every single day. I keep reminding myself that there is hope, I might be able to make it and save my sister's future as well.
