Struggling with faith since my adolescence and despite not being sent to Friday school or being taught how to pray properly. I was categorised by my parents and community that I must behave and follow certain rules no matter how how trivial it may sound. I also find it abhorrent that people who have not harmed others can be deemed as sinners including myself due to not being straight.

I also faced fake friends who have non-Muslim friends yet when I left the religion, they turned their backs on me. It led me to dropout of uni due to mental health issues and harassment by these people and tried to take my life.

I'm not sure what to expect as I don't know anyone else in the UK in the same position as me.
