Decades after marrying a white non Muslim
( not so common back then for a child of Pakistani migrant parents) , I am a lifetime away from my youthful assumption that I would one day ‘get ‘ religion. I am proud to have a child unburdened by the requirement for blind faith. I am ashamed of the inhumanity inflicted on humanity in the name of Islam. I am not a Muslim.
