I’m an Iraqi atheist and I was threatened to death in Iraq because of my views by an islamist militia. I’m also a biologist and a pharmacist and my education played a significant part of my apostasy. I’m thankful for my liberal family whom didn’t for a second question my beliefs and also suffered because of me.
