Statement

Born and raised in a Muslim family I’ve always adhered to what was expected of me but in my mind I was relentlessly questioning and eventually it all became sense that one does not need religion to be happy in life. To the contrary, Islam made my life really miserable and filled with contradictions. for someone who studied "Quran" and "hadith" from a young age, I've always questioned them. Studying science at the university made me make up my mind about leaving Islam and religion in general.

I wouldn't say that i had a peaceful transition when I left Islam, specially being brought up in a pretty fundamentalist country like Sudan, where the constitution of the country punish Apostate. Not only me that faced persecution when I thought of living Islam, I know of many who have suffered immensely seeking freedom from religion. As a result of that I’ve always strived to offer my support and guidance to those who may want to leave religion in general and Islam specially, I have been through the journey and i know it can be very tough at times. furthermore, I have been relentless in my criticism of the issues within Islam and religions themselves with the aim of making people aware of the danger of religion. Now I feel I have the opportunity to offer reinforcement and the courage to help others pursue the life they want.
