I find it amazing what Islam gets away with, but of course when you're in it, you don't see it that way. It's a prison of the mind and unfortunately has diverse and mostly negative effects generationally due to childhood indoctrination.
I was not a very devout muslim except for a shot period but I miss the bonding and sense of community I grew up with. I wanted to join a group of like minded individuals for a sense of belonging.
