I live in the UK and I come from a Pakistani household, I left Islam a very long time ago. I escaped from a toxic abusive household. As a female. I do not believe there is gender equality in Islam. I felt SO FREE and able to be myself after I became 'openly' ex-muslim. Able to do what I want to do and do things that make me happy. This page makes me feel not alone and knowing I am not the only one who is going through this.
