I was brough up in a muslim family in London and always assumed it to the correct religion. Whenever we've seen issues in the islamic world or even the west (e.g. charlie hebdo incident) I was told they're just cultural issues, nothing to do with Islam. Whenever I questions shariah law I was told it's not actually violent and very fair. Whenever I had concerns over sexism I was told that Islam is actually very feminist. Imagine my shock upon reading the Quran and learning about Islamic juresprudence. I am an exmuslim and I want to help protect our western values in any way thay I can.
