I studied Islam for years through the internet, secretly converted, then left Islam just as quietly soon thereafter. I\'m now atheist. I\'ve always lived in a secular society within a liberal, non-Muslim family. Freedom of thought and association were a given. My heart goes out to Muslims with curious minds, because they aren\'t afforded the same freedom to leave as safely as I was. I support CEMB\'s work, in the hope CEMB will help narrow the gap of opportunity that curious Muslims suffer in the struggle to claim the right to their own mind.
