I\'ve been an ex-muslim for the last 5+ years ever since I read the translation of the Quran with tafseer and realized the true nature of its message. Still its only been recently I\'ve found out about this organization, and I wish I had done so sooner.

Ex-muslims need to know that they are not alone, muslims need to know that we exist and society as a whole needs to know that the voice of those who have left Islam is powerful and unwavering in our appeal for human rights. For all of these reasons, I thank the Council of Ex-Muslims for all that they do and want to be a part of it.
