Our visibility tells the murderers that they do not intimidate us. I want to add to our visibility. Also, I want to take a public stand to help defend the freedoms and rights that we\'ve won since the Enlightenment, against which neither Allah, nor the seventh century, have nothing to offer.
I stand against the Islamists as a woman, as a woman married to a woman, and most importantly, as a human being.
