I was brought up as a muslim, made to wear a scarf and pray from the age of 5 and fast from 8ish. All through my childhood and teenage years teachings were enforced with verbal, physical and mental abuse.

I am now an ex-muslim and have never been happier. I feel like joining a community like this to be able to talk about things with people who\'ve had to go through experiences.
