Event Details

This monthly group, held on the third Wednesday of every month, offers a supportive space to better understand mental health challenges and learn practical psychological strategies to manage them. Sessions focus on making sense of experiences leaving Islam and developing tools that can help in everyday life. From June-August, the group will focus specifically on anxiety and depression, exploring how they can show up, what maintains them, and evidence-based ways of coping and building resilience. This is not a therapy group, but a gentle, educational space. There is no pressure to share, and you’re welcome to take part at your own pace. The sessions are led by Counselling Psychologist Dr SAVIN BAPIR-TARDY.

CEMB also has one 90-minute online session on the first Wednesday of every month, 6.30-8.00pm UK time and a woman’s support group on the second Wednesday of every month, 6.30-8.00pm UK time.

If you have never attended a session before, please email hello@ex-muslim.org.uk.
