43% increase in Islamic regime of Iran’s executions With the official start of the new year (Nowroz) in Iran, the Iran Human Rights Organization has released a report on the executions carried out by the Islamic Republic. According to the report, the rate of executions in the past year has increased by 43%. Among these executed individuals, two people have been executed for the first time in the past 9 years on charges of insulting Islamic sanctities.
