I am writing to apply for membership with your organization. My name is [Boulbeba Gabsi ], and I am an ex-Muslim seeking support, community, and a safe space to connect with like-minded individuals.

I was born and raised in a Muslim family in Tunisia, but over time, I came to question my faith and ultimately decided to leave Islam. This decision has had serious consequences for me. I have faced threats, violence, and severe persecution because of my atheism. I have even experienced traumatic events, including being tortured and losing my pets as a result of my beliefs.

Since arriving in the UK, I have been seeking asylum, but despite providing evidence of the threats and violence I endured, my claim was rejected. I am currently in the process of appealing this decision.

I am deeply grateful for the work your organization does in supporting ex-Muslims, and I believe becoming a member will provide me with much-needed emotional support, resources, and a sense of belonging. I am eager to connect with others who understand the challenges faced by those who leave Islam.
