This is a space for people who are new to the service or thinking about joining CEMB’s support groups. The session offers a chance to settle in, understand what support is available, ask questions, and feel oriented. It’s a supportive first step prior to joining the main support group or psychoeducational group.

CEMB currently has one 90-minute online session on the first Wednesday of every month, 6.30-8.00pm UK time and a woman’s support group on the second Wednesday of every month, 6.30-8.00pm UK time. The psychoeducational support group is held on the third Wednesday of every month. All sessions are led by Counselling Psychologist Dr SAVIN BAPIR-TARDY.

Sessions focus on making sense of experiences leaving Islam and developing tools that can help in everyday life. This is not a therapy group, but a gentle, educational space.
